The Korean Line

Make big challenges small.

Ten Korean crafts, each drawn as a single fine line. A moon jar is too wide to raise in one piece, so the potter throws two bowls and joins them at the waist — the seam shows on every real one. A jogakbo is pieced from the offcuts left over from other work. A bojagi is a flat square that becomes whatever it is asked to carry, then flat again. Each is a big thing made by making small things.

Every word printed on these garments is English or romanised. No Hangul appears on any of them, and none will until a native reader has signed it off.
